The above website is dedicated to the China Burma India Theatre. Never mind that your grandfather was not a member of the original Flying Tigers. His courage and sacrifice was none the less just as worthy. Good luck in your search for information. ]]>

I am writing a book about my cousin Robert Brouk, 3rd Squadron. The bulk of the book is his war diary. He was killed shortly after AVG disbandment at the end of 1942 in a training accident. I hope to have it out early 2011.
A new "legitimate" book on the AVG is exciting news. Keep us informed on the progress. I'm sure the lines are already forming.

The book is 75% written. I need to finish the end of his life, which sadly occurred a few months after the AVG disbanded. I have not seen much written about Robert besides a brief mention in some of the AVGers books, perhaps because he did not go on as so many did, to fight the war and live through it to tell his story. My goal is for his story to be told, both in his words through his war diary, and mine about the last months of his life, so he will not be forgotten.
