In our Post started last year (in October, 2013)  entitled  AVG - Flying Tigers    Request for INFO please  we began to assemble information about various sources of AVG Flying Tigers research & information sources.

Thank you for your many responses!  There has been considerable interest in AVG MUSEUMS and we are now posting this thread as a Working Site where Forum members are welcome to comment on our list, to enable us to keep this list accurate and up-to-date.

We visited a museum in Nanjing in 2010 that had a number of items that were related to the AVG. It is next to the Monument to the Aviator Martyrs in the War Against Japanese Aggression that lists more than 2200 American Flyers lost fighting the Japanese. Very impressive and first class memorials.

Time to bring this thread out of an inactive status to inform you that there are now new postings in our AVG DISPLAYS section.

Please refer to the section II AVG NOTABLE DISPLAYS where we break out specific displays to bring to your attention....they can be at a museum (listed in section I above, or in an airport, university, or airbase).

Now that a large number of the AVG Family have traveled to China and other areas, please respond with any AVG displays which should be noted on our AVG Forum.  Your assistance is greatly appreciated!!

To repeat:  please send us info on any AVG displays which should be listed at our website....Thanks!

On our recent trip to Bejing we visited the Civil Aviation Museum which had a large section on CNAC, and mention of AVG fliers, John Dean in particular.

In Nanjing, the Aviator Martyrs Monument has had 404 names added, Many of the AVG fliers who were killed in China are listed. I have a complete roster of names on the black marble stones.

We have just added a new category to our website page entitled AVG DISPLAYS
found at:

            http://www.flyingtigersavg.com/index.php/avg-displays

It lists AVG AIRCRAFT.  We welcome input from our AVG Forum members to inform us of other displays and to add/correct listed information.  Thank you!
