Thanks for you inquiry!

The roster of all AVG Flying Tigers can be found at our website.

I checked for you and the name Rielly does not appear on our roster.
Please check on his dates of service.  If it was July 4, 1942 to 1945 he may have served with the 23rd Fighter Group and/or 14th AF.

Thanks for his service to our Country....!

Thank you for letting me in to your wonderful site.  I just got off the phone with my Brother in law, he will get back with me with more information.  Colin talked to us about the Flying Tigers, the Dragon Fly's and flying in Viet Nam, just trying to find out more information,  he retired Col. C Reilly and I had the e and i swapped earlier. He was very active in the local bicycle club in Morro Bay, Calif. and rode his bike every morning from Morro Bay to Cayucos and back for breakfast, and was hit by a vehicle and killed one morning in 2002.  He has this Flying Tiger insignia (above) on his Headstone at the Cemetery in Cayucos and they named the bicycle Bridge there after him. Thanks again for your help.  Ted McClure

Quite a legacy.......thanks for sharing this story with our AVG Forum members.

The 3rd Squadron of the AVG Flying Tigers was the Hell's Angels....way back in 1941-42....!
