That is a very good idea Bill.I have checked into this and this is not the way they do business. Another reason I want to donate it is to keep it as one unit. Also I do have some fear that some day when I come back from a trip my house has been broken into or it has burned to the ground. I would feel a lot better knowing it will be safe at the museum. There is also a chance, like a lot of northern people, I might want to move south to get away from these winters. I greatly appreciate the suggestion Bill.

Good points, Rick.  There is a great AVG exhibit at the San Diego Air & Space Museum.  Note some pics attached.

I understand that many AVG items were lost when the previous museum had a disastrous fire.  Can anyone tell us what types of AVG items were on display in the
previous S.D. Museum?

The San Diego Air & Space Museum also has a bunch of pics on Flickr. I posted a link for that in September when I found two of Bob Brouk for my book.

Yes, thanks jenholik.  That was a great link to excellent photos.

Does anyone know what AVG items were lost in the S.D. Air Museum fire?
Especially directed to Richard Peacher, also.
Thanks for any replies.
